BuyerState uses cookieless PostHog statistical analytics by default to understand how buyerstate.app is used and improve the website. PostHog does not set a persistent analytics identity in your browser for this measurement. You can turn statistical analytics off at any time. This notice also covers browser storage used to remember your privacy choices and optional sample-report draft saving.

The optional sample-report draft stays in your browser and is not sent to BuyerState until you submit the form.
2. Your choices
Statistical website analytics runs by default and can be turned off through the privacy choices at any time. BuyerState relies on the statistical-purposes exception for this narrowly scoped website-improvement measurement. Sample-report draft saving is a separate choice and remains off unless you enable it. Turning analytics off does not stop you using the website or submitting a form.

BuyerState uses PostHog solely for statistical information about how the website is used so we can improve it, including pageviews, traffic sources, selected high-intent calls to action, enquiries and progress through the Sample Report form. The website uses PostHog cookieless server-hash mode rather than a persistent browser analytics identifier.
In cookieless mode, PostHog uses technical request information transiently to create an anonymous hash that changes each calendar day. BuyerState uses the resulting data to understand aggregate website performance and user journeys, not to identify, profile or monitor named visitors.
Session replay, heatmaps and generic autocapture are disabled. BuyerState records only the approved page and conversion events needed for the M4 measurement model, and does not send form answers to PostHog.
Analytics event URLs are reduced to their origin and path before those events are sent, and BuyerState does not call PostHog's user-identification functions on this website.
4. BuyerState team exclusion
BuyerState team browsers can be marked locally so PostHog does not initialise or capture analytics on those devices. This keeps internal testing and routine team visits out of website analytics.
5. Essential infrastructure
Our hosting and security providers may process technical request data, such as an IP address, to deliver and protect the website. The site also loads fonts and animation libraries from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Those providers may receive technical request information when your browser requests those assets. This is explained further in our privacy notice.
6. Browser controls
You can turn statistical analytics off at any time through BuyerState's privacy choices and can also remove stored preference information through your browser settings. Blocking all browser storage may prevent your opt-out or form-draft preference from being remembered.
7. Changes and contact
